Come spend fall in beautiful apple country! Situated on a quiet country lane overlooking a creek, this sweet farmhouse is an ideal spot for a single person looking for a little respite. Your room (7.6 ft. x 13.0 ft., plus closet) is on the front part of the house and includes a porch overlooking the yard. We’ve furnished the room with a queen brass bed and retro curtains, but you are welcome to trade these furnishings out for your own. Shared spaces include a den, dining area, kitchen, laundry, yard with fire pit and hot tub. Sit on the porch on the antique glider and watch the world go by ….

We are a couple who just bought the house last year. I’m a freelance writer and my partner is a firmware engineer. He works on the West Coast one week out of the month, and we also occasionally travel for leisure, so you will sometimes have the place to yourself. Since we both work from home, we stay busy and are looking for a boarder who has a job outside of the home. Our two kittens romp freely, so it’s best if you don’t have pets. We’ve been continually making updates on the home, like painting and tree-trimming, so expect a little bustling around. We like our privacy and expect you do too, so aim for a mutually respectful arrangement.
