Bedroom with abundant natural light and a private bath is available in quiet Lake Forest! The apartment is a 1,030 sqft corner unit on the second (top) floor, and has its own laundry room. Kitchen has a fridge, microwave, and a gas stove/oven. We also have a separate small freezer for extra food storage space.

The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful, and within walking distance of a local park and a couple of small shopping centers (including a Chase bank, CVS, and Ralph’s). The apartment is also walking distance from one of the complex’s pool/spa/grill areas.

The room itself is 15ft x 10ft, carpeted, and has a very spacious closet. Parking is included with the room. It’s unassigned, but the spots are private, ample, off the street, and all right in front of the building.

The occupants of the other bedroom are a married LGBTQ couple with two small dogs that are quiet, friendly, and well-trained. They will want to befriend you! But they can respect your space if you aren’t big on snuggly dogs. Unfortunately there is a two animal limit per unit, so no other pets will be allowed (with exceptions for a service animal).

After meeting us and seeing the apartment (per the property management), all applicants must apply directly through the complex’s website. This is NOT a sublease listing. An approved applicant would join on the main lease directly, which is currently active until April 19, 2024. Rent would be 1250 + 160 for utilities.

My husband and I are 29 and 26 respectively, and enjoy video games and board games, watching tv, going to Knott’s, and spoiling our dogs together. I also love to make art! He works as an apprentice flavor chemist (so he makes really good food), and I’m an all-ages swim instructor. We’d like to become friends with whoever moves in, but can also just peacefully coexist if that’s what you’re looking for.

We are a pretty laidback household, not loud, and don’t throw parties, and none of our neighbors are partiers. We are 420 friendly, but have all our vapor stuff out the way in our room, so if you aren’t, you won’t be bothered! We do request no tobacco in or around the apartment, as that’s specified in our lease.
