Hi there,

Val Verde seems mostly unheard of, but it is really only 15min from Valencia. Although the location is a little on the beaten path, it is a nice community.

The house has a little wear but by no means unlivable. We are looking for someone who is quiet, courteous and responsible. Generally speaking, the rules are pretty flexible to live here as long as you are courteous to everyone else. The room itself comes equipped with an individual AC unit as we do not use the central air but use a swamp cooler for the shared living spaces. Utilities range from $70-$140 per month, the higher end of the utilities occurs in the hottest months. This includes gas, water, electric, internet, trash and toiletries for the home. I can provide a spreadsheet to show you the cost of utilities over the course of a year. The bathroom is shared with two males. We are NOT looking for someone who only wants to do month to month or does not have the deposit. We need someone for a minimum of six months, but prefer long-term tenants. Our current tenants will remain with us for the foreseeable future. Ideally, we would like someone who has the same desires. We are looking for someone that will get along well with the three men currently at the home.

There is a nice, big, beautiful park down the road from the home. Along with several hiking trails. The room would come with your own parking space reserved for you.

You have access to the kitchen/laundry room/shared living spaces. There are no rules for when you have access to the house. You may enter/exit as you please.

Guests are allowed to come over approximately 2x a week but any longer would need to be passed by the landlords (Ex. a friend in town visiting, staying the night). We are flexible here.

Our ideal tenant is someone who can show respect for the home and the roommates, responsible, communicative, clean, and has a consistent job. We will have questions about previous job history, rental history and anything else important to know about a roommate.

The room is available now moving forward. It is ready to move in. Deposit ($700) + First month’s rent ($700) is due up front ($1,400).

I am posting this as I am the homeowner along with my brother, Jacob. I do not currently reside at the residence but oversee and am involved with the home. I’ve lived there for over 10 years and have only recently moved, so I am happy to answer any questions about the area.

The general expectations of each person who resides at the residence is to be cordial, courteous and assist in the cleaning of shared spaces. If it is a space that you utilize, it is expected you help in the shared cleaning of that space.

We have two dogs and four cats. Dogs and cats are indoors. Since we have so many animals, we prefer not to add more to the home already, unless it is something that can stay in your own room, like a reptile.

Most days at the home are generally quiet. We do have some family members who stop by. Jacob enjoys watching UFC on Saturdays and working on projects around the house. Jon enjoys the plants, gardening and hummingbirds. Nir likes to tinker with computer programming.
