Judah Street

Hey there y’all,

We are three queers currently seeking a new roommate to move into an available bedroom in our 4 bedroom/ 2 bathroom apartment as of August 1st. The apartment is located on the second floor in the Outer Sunset off of 41st Ave and Judah St. We live right off the N Judah line.

The room + bathroom:

The available room for rent is somewhat on the smaller side, measuring approximately 10’x12’. It features a small window that overlooks the neighboring room, but it doesn’t receive much natural light. However, we’ve found a floor lamp works perfect for this cozy room, and would highly reccomend it.

The bathroom is shared with one other person.

Rent + Deposit + Lease + Utilities:

The rent for this room is $900 per month. The security deposit is $1,000. The lease is a shared one year lease and not month to month. Utilities not included. Typically utilities amount to about $100 for shared internet, water, PG&E, and trash.

Total move in cost:

first month’s rent + security deposit = $1,900.

What we’re looking for:

We are looking for a responsible and considerate housemate who will help to maintain a clean and tidy living space. Someone who communicates openly and respectfully with others in the house and can contribute to a positive and friendly atmosphere. We value someone who is friendly and sociable, but also understands the importance of personal space.

A little bit about us:

Danny (he/him + late 30’s): Works as a part time vet tech, and is home frequently throughout the day. Danny also has a small, well behaved senior chihuahua named Comet. Typically, Danny takes Comet with him to work, and Comet remains in Danny’s room most of the time when he’s home, rather than roaming around.

Ruth (she/they + mid 20’s): I work as a full time barista. Typically I’m gone throughout most of the day. I love to sing, write, and I’m currently working on my house plant collection.

Noah (he/they) + mid 20’s): Noah will be joining our home as of August 1st. They work full time as a harm reduction specialist, which does require them to work from home two days per week.

Pet Policy:

Unfortunately, we’re not accepting any more pets at this time.

About the neighborhood:

This area is actually pretty quiet, and the neighbors are really nice. calm, and polite. While we don’t have a strict guest policy, it’s important to note that this is not a party house. We make an effort to respect everyone’s sleeping habits and ensure a peaceful living environment. If you intend to have someone over, we kindly request that you give us a quick heads up beforehand.
