Brianna's room

The room itself is located on the second floor. It has a shared wall with my son’s bedroom. The bathroom is a full bathroom and will be a private bathroom. My son will share a bathroom with me and utilize the half bath as his primary space while the room is rented. The house is a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath place, fully furnished (minus the room) so it’s best for someone who has items for their bedroom only. I own the house. We live on a pretty quiet street, most of the neighbors have kids so they play outside during summer or when it’s dry out. There is street parking and the spot directly in front of the house is usually open (the trash/recycling cans go near there on pickup days).

If you work remotely, it is expected that you set up a work space in your room (or work outside of the home) so that the common area (kitchen/living room) remain common and open for use.

I work full time in the financial tech industry, and I’m a part time student enrolled at PSU in the School of Business. I am 31, and my son is 11 and he lives with me half-time. (Week on, week off). We are very clean and organized people with no pets! My son plays basketball,so we are usually at practice or games. On the weeknights where there isn’t basketball, we chill at home watching tv, doing homework, cooking dinner etc, until bedtime (latest is 10:30pm). On the weekends, we will play music pretty loudly and do our chores around the house. I like to have friends over and host get togethers, whether grilling and hanging out or having a game night! I don’t expect a renter to want to hang out with us, and generally will keep to myself and let you know when I plan to have company over. I enjoy cooking, so if you are into shared meals, we can work out grocery splitting and kitchen clean up responsibilities.
