I’m looking for a female roommate who is interested in renting out the second bedroom. This two-bedroom unit is part of a duplex. Our unit is a two bedroom, one bath, unit. The lady who lives in the adjacent unit is elderly and has lived here for many years and is very quiet and kind. The apartment has an onsite washer and dryer and a long driveway that can fit both of our vehicles without issue. There is a very large backyard and an outdoor covered patio. There is also a half-sized dishwasher in the kitchen. The living room has air conditioning. The bedroom does not have air conditioning, but you can add a window unit.

Keep in mind this is not a party house. This home is a place of peace and quiet. No smoking inside, but smoking (tobacco or marijuana) is okay in the backyard. It is very quiet here at night and the available room is off the roadside and the sunny side of the house. I personally have two cats so pets are not allowed. This is a month to month rent. Rent is $775 a month and includes all utilities. A deposit of $400 is required and will be paid the landlord. The security deposit will be returned upon move out depending on the state of the room. I handle the bills and require rent to be paid to me via check each month at the end of the month. All utilities, including internet, are included in the monthly rent. Copies of all the utility bills are available for the other tenant to look over as they wish. One previous landlord reference is needed, plus the individual’s identification and proof of employment (unless they are a student, a co-signer is okay). A background check will be needed as well.

I work as a Med Tech and I do work a lot. I spend my free time reading or watching TV and hanging out with my cats. Im very easy going and just want a roommate with similar habits. I also keep my home clean and expect my roommate to clean up after themselves; I do most of the usual cleaning because of my cats. I also have a garden and enjoy growing food and being outside.
