Katie's room

I have a room available in my historic bungalow located near Ybor and Seminole Heights. Downtown Ybor is about 1 mile away, and Amalie Arena/Armature/Channelside are about 2 miles away so I am right in the middle of everything.

The available bedroom has high ceilings, large windows, and original natural wood floors. There is a bathroom right outside your bedroom door that would be your personal bathroom.

The house is 103 years old and has so much charm and quirky little things that make me love it, and I would really like to share this space with another girl who could appreciate it and maintain the cozy safe-space feel. I have kitchen appliances and space where you can store things in the kitchen. I also have a large shed and attic for storing things if needed. The house also has a decently large fenced in yard, plenty of space to bring a dog that could play with mine.

I am a 25F that works in tech from home during the day. I love my job, and when I’m not working, I’m often studying for things related to my job. I am kind of a morning person and a night person, I enjoy cooking and doing digital art.

I’m in a long distance relationship so my boyfriend typically comes down for 5-7 days every few weeks or so, or I go to him in D.C.. He is a video game developer and when he is in town we work at home together and may go out to eat more often. He’s really kind, and social, and respectful and anyone that likes me would get along great with him.

I have a 1 year old yellow lab named Billie. I got her from a rescue and she’s really sweet and loves other animals and people.

I consider myself a pretty clean person, and when things start to get a little messy (as they do from time to time) I tend to have bursts of energy for deep cleaning. I love my house and try to keep it looking nice, not only out of respect for my place but also for my mental health, since I spend so much time inside.
