Mo's room

Our home is in the northwest corner of Bloomington, but on the 6 bus line to get downtown or to campus. We have a three bedroom three and a half bathroom townhome, the room available is upstairs with an attached bath, walk in closet, and extra hall storage closet. We have in unit washer and dryer, parking is included, and the landlord has private security 24/7. The neighborhood is a good mix of students and professionals. We have access to all the amenities Hunter offers - so the basketball courts and dog park here but we are allowed to use the gym and pool at their other properties.

I’m Mo, a 22 year old leasing agent. I work Monday through Friday 9:30-5:30, so am gone for a good portion of the day. I value a clean house, specifically kitchen and bathrooms must be clean. I am working on rescuing a dog at the moment, I expect I will be approved - the puppy I’m looking at is potty trained, crate trained, and rather shy - he’s not got a mean bone in his body 🥰

My roommate Salem is a trans masc, so you must be LGBTQ+ friendly and trans friendly! He is a 25 year old recovery coach at a local rehab facility and works about 30 hours a week. Salem has a 13 year old cat, Lily, who is sweet and playful and very well trained.

We both value strong communication- that is the most important thing to us in a roommate. Cleanliness is important, but we have an understanding that we all pitch in and clean up after each other within reason, and have a conversation if expectations are continually not being met. We always pay bills on time and are very proactive with the leasing company.

We would love a roommate who would want to hang out with us, our home is very warm and welcoming and we want that energy to stay the same!
