Hi there! We have a lovely, bright, fully furnished bedroom available in our spacious and beautifully decorated home.

Room Details: Bright bedroom on the second floor, next to the laundry area with washer and dryer. The room features plenty of natural light, a comfortable bed, spacious dresser, and ample closet space. Thoughtful touches like soft lighting and decor create a warm, welcoming environment.

Bathroom Details: You’ll share a large, clean bathroom with one other very respectful roommate. It has two separate vanity sinks and a divided layout so two people can comfortably get ready at the same time. Towels and bed linens are provided, as the room was originally designed for Airbnb guests.

Rent & Deposit:    •   Rent: $1,300/month    •   Security Deposit: $500 (refundable)    •   Reservation Policy: A $500 holding deposit via Zelle or Venmo secures the room and will be applied to your security deposit at move-in. Because the room is held exclusively for you, the holding deposit is nonrefundable if you decide not to move in.

Utilities: Internet, water, and trash are included. Gas and electric (SDG&E) are covered up to $250/month for the household; any overage is split evenly among roommates and due within a few days of receiving the bill.

Shared Spaces: Family room, dining room, formal living room, kitchen, and upstairs laundry room are shared.

Kitchen Overview: Fully equipped with dishes, pots, pans, and cooking utensils.

Pantry & Fridge: Pantry and fridge space are shared fairly. Personal kitchen-related items can be stored in a designated cabinet to keep the space organized.

Cooking & Kitchen Use: Cooking is fun, and while things can get a little messy, everyone pitches in—cleaning up after themselves, taking turns with the dishwasher, wiping down counters and stove, keeping floors tidy, and rotating trash duties.

Roommates & Lifestyle: We’re three women, ages 24 to 54, looking for a like-minded female roommate. We all work throughout the week and weekends, maintaining a busy but balanced lifestyle.

Who We’re Looking For: We’re ideally seeking a female working professional or student who works or studies outside the home. (Sorry—no remote workers.)

Home Atmosphere & Expectations: Our household is relaxed, respectful, and built on kindness, honesty, and consideration. We’re hoping to find someone who is friendly, responsible, tidy, and enjoys contributing to a clean, comfortable shared space. All roommates are on the same level—rules apply to everyone equally—and divisive or disrespectful behavior is not acceptable.

We are a left-leaning, liberal-minded household that values respect, open-mindedness, and thoughtful conversation. Differing views are welcome, but political discussions should remain friendly and never divisive.

Noise & Guests: Our home has a peaceful, easygoing atmosphere. We enjoy occasional social evenings but keep late-night noise to a minimum on work nights. The room is for a single occupant. Occasional overnight guests are fine with prior notice; frequent sleepovers aren’t allowed. Longer visits can be arranged in advance.

Pets: Our home includes a small mixed terrier who lives downstairs with his owner and an older tabby cat who mostly keeps to one room. Both are calm and well-behaved. We may consider one additional well-tempered, potty-trained small to medium-sized dog that gets along with other animals.

Parking: Two driveway spots and front street parking are rotated fairly so everyone has access.
