Winnie Street - Avenue G

I own a 3 bedroom 2 bath single family home in the east historic district in Galveston. The bedroom is furnished with a private closet, and directly next to a full size bathroom with a shower/tub combo which will be private to whoever rents the bedroom. I have a driveway so private parking is included as well as street parking directly in front of the house, and there are cameras monitoring the exterior of my home for safety. There is a covered porch with a great size fenced backyard, full size washer/dryer, high-speed unlimited data internet, central ac, shared kitchen etc.

I am a 35 year old mother with a 7 year old son. I have a degree in nursing, however I wanted to work from home for my child’s benefit, so currently working as a medical transcriptionist. I am looking for a roommate who is either a student or working… someone who is motivated at whatever they do. I have one cat and would probably okay with having another cat around but not a dog. We live very close to UTMB so if you were a student there your walk to school would be very close. We are on the same street as Patty Cakes bakery and the Mosquito Cafe, both wonderful places to eat. The seawall is just half a mile away one direction and the strand is half a mile away in another direction… the location is great!
