Carrie's room

I have a four bedroom house with one room available. My father lives in Las Vegas but still has a room here for when he visits. I have a downstairs bedroom that I occasionally use for Airbnb, but once we rent out the bedroom, we won’t Airbnb unless you want to split the profits. I am renting out an empty bedroom upstairs that is pretty big and has two windows with a decent size closet. All the carpet is less than a year old. The upstairs bathroom is new from bathfitters. There is a living room upstairs and downstairs so there is plenty of space to share. The neighbors are all super nice and it’s a safe neighborhood.

I am 37 and have lived in this house for 20 years. My mother passed away a few years ago so I took the house over. I travel a lot for work so you won’t see me too much. My father comes in town to visit a few times a year and has his own room. We don’t allow any pets as he has allergies. Smoking is ok if it’s outside only. Our last renters were partiers and it was a huge problem. I don’t mind if you drink a couple times a week responsibly, but if you know you like to get DRUNK, this is not the place for you. We also have Ring security cameras so we will know for sure if you have parties or come home drunk all the time.

This will be a month-to-month lease to make sure all parties are happy with the situation. Our last renters were here for almost a year on the month-to-month lease. If you’re cool, you clean consistently, don’t have drama, and communicate well, you could end up here for years if ya want!

Bills will be split when I am in town. So if I am gone for three weeks, you will be responsible for 75% of the bills. My father is a CFO so he can crunch the numbers well :) Bills are usually around $150 depending on how you control the AC/Heat and know when to turn off lights.

I’m all about helping people and equality, so if you are racist or hate on any group of people, this is not the place for you. I’m looking for a responsible adult who can handle their bills, keep everything clean, no drama, no record, and doesn’t mind cutting the grass when I’m out of town. Life can be hard enough so let’s make this living situation easy :)
