Live in a 985 sq ft furnished apartment with internet, utilities, Netflix/AppleTV, and laundry included in the cost of rent ($1100). The apartment (which has 2 huge bedrooms and 1 bath) is located in a historic, residential, metro-accessible and walkable neighborhood close to many parks and trails and a quick metro ride downtown or into Maryland. My 4-story walkup (a coop I’m an owner of) is a 3 min walk to the Cleveland Park metro station (red line) and sits on several bus routes. The nearby “main street” offers many conveniences, including Target, CVS, two supermarkets, a farmer’s market, and a public library. There is street parking within a block if you have a car. (Note: The apartment is on the 3rd floor and laundry is in the basement).

I am a professional who is a bit older (close to 50), who has lived in DC for 15 years and enjoy exploring what the city has to offer. I am an affable person who is good about keeping common spaces tidy and clean. I am looking for a roommate who is tidy, friendly, and considerate and follows building rules. Pets might be okay, but dogs must be under 55 pounds. I always do a credit check, a background check and ask for references from prior landlords prior to us signing a lease.
