Room(s): I am looking for a roommate(s) for a three-bedroom townhouse in New Town. The townhouse is in great condition, huge (1,988 square feet) and will offer you a lot of space and privacy. I am looking to rent out the bedrooms on the main floor. This could either be a bedroom plus a slightly smaller second bedroom to serve as an office (has a built-in tabletop for a desk in the closet).

If you can find a second roommate, the two rooms can be rented out individually.

The kitchen area and living room are also on the main floor and will be shared. It is up to date and in good condition.

Rent: $1,000 which includes one bedroom, a private bathroom and an office (bedroom 2). I will also consider renting out this space to a couple for $1,200.

$600 per roommate if you are to split the two bedrooms and bathroom (both must be filled to consider this option)

I’ll take care of water and the internet to eliminate two utilities. I’d like to split VA natural gas (just for the stove) and electricity.

My current lease duration is until the end of May 2023. However, I am willing to sign any rental agreement of duration of at least 6 months.

The location is amazing. It is in the middle of everything you might need. Sullivan Square which hosts summer concert series is right behind the corner, so no driving is needed. Trader Joes, Ulta, Walmart, CAVA, Fresh Market, etc. are within walking distance or 2 minutes of driving. William & Mary is less than 5 min away. There is a pool and walking/biking trail included in the complex.

The ideal roommate is a graduate student or working professional who is tidy, responsible, and respectful. All will be considered. I am a 31-year-old male, professional psychiatric nurse practitioner practicing out of Chesapeake, VA, and commute 2-3 days a week. I conduct telehealth from my upstairs bedroom every Monday and Friday, and soon Wednesdays. I do not need complete silence during the day, but respect would be appreciated.
