Seeking 2 roommates for house share in Longmont. Single occupant only, no couples, no kids. 30+, working professional, LGBTQIA+ friendly, mature, clean and respectful of the house, others, and their property. Small animals negotiable, no cats or dogs as there are already 2 friendly cats and backyard chickens. No smoking, no excessive drinking, no late night parties.

Available: October 1, but willing to wait for the right person.

The house: 5 bedrooms, 3 1/2 bathrooms, 3 levels so everyone has their own space and private bathroom. Located near Garden Acres Park (north Longmont), close to walking paths, bus routes, and convenient shopping.

Basement: single occupant only, one bedroom, private bathroom, large living room with fireplace and built in office space. shared laundry is located in the basement- we can come up with a schedule so people aren’t barging into your space unannounced

Whole second floor: single occupant only, 3 bedrooms/office spaces, private bathroom and small linen closet

Communal shared space: kitchen, dining room, living room, back deck, shared laundry room in basement, garage and driveway parking (my truck does not fit in the garage so I park on the street, there will be garage space for your vehicle should you need it.)

My name is Kristen (she/her), 37, and I moved to Colorado in 2019. I’ll be living in the main floor master bedroom. I work full time as a professional nanny. I am quiet, clean, and respectful. I love gardening, animals, good food and terrible sci fi movies. I’m in bed by 9pm and usually awake by 6, so living with people with similar schedules would be ideal. I don’t mind if you’re a night owl, I just ask that you are respectful, and try to be quiet and use minimal lights in communal spaces after 10pm. Absolutely no partying unless arranged and agreed upon by all roommates. Picking up after yourself and shared household cleaning is a must. We are also responsible for a small amount of yard upkeep (raking leaves in fall, shoveling sidewalk in winter, mowing lawn in summer, etc.). The backyard is pretty small but I’ve added raised garden beds and a chicken coop. I can be found outside most days growing veggies and flowers and hanging out with my chickens. I have 2 cats that are 8 years old and friendly and mostly keep to themselves. I am an honest and trustworthy person and I expect the same from anyone I share a home with. Open communication is a priority. The landlord is a very dear friend of mine; she is fair, communicative and fixes any issues that come up in a timely manner.
