Wildwood Glen Avenue

Location: NW area in Centennial Hills, off of Skye Pointe/Buffalo Dr. exit near Farm Rd & Tule Springs intersection. This is a safe area near Target, Centennial Hills Hospital, and a mile from the freeway with restaurants, shops, gyms, and a bus line nearby.

House: 4 BR, 2.5 BA, about 2000 sq ft. All bedrooms are upstairs, along with a washer/dryer. The bathrooms are shared with a full bath upstairs and half bath downstairs (I have a bathroom in my bedroom). The room comes furnished with a full-size platform bed and has a walk-in closet. Common areas in the house may be used by everyone.

The room rate includes utilities, WiFi, streaming services, etc. The cost of move-in is a refundable security deposit and first month’s rent. Rent and utilities are a fixed rate on a month to month basis. Rents in this neighborhood average about $1500/month for a 1 bedroom apartment plus utilities so sharing a house works out great for everyone.

The house is leased so you would need to be approved by property management. Any credit level/income is considered and an application will be required. It’s a really easy process though. You definitely would need to be a person who loves dogs. My two boys are family.

I am a high school counselor. My two roommates are both male, one is in the military and one works for a golf center. My fiancé will be joining the household eventually, sharing my space. The roommates are great guys. We are friendly, but also respect your privacy. Ages range from 22-52. I’ve been in the house for 4 years and it’s a really nice place to live.

Ideal roommate: You need to be easy-going, friendly, and not expect a totally quiet household. With two dogs and various schedules, we come and go at different times. This room is for one person only and, although pets are adored, we are at our max with the two puppers already here. I prefer no remote work completed from home other than school work if you are a student. This is a smoke-free/drug-free home. Sometimes the dogs bark in the neighborhood if a stranger comes into the driveway but it’s temporary. All in all, you get the advantage of living in a house in a very good neighborhood for a low rate.
