Emma's room

I have a large room available in my 2-bed Apt, which comprises the top floor (2nd floor) of a house in Pasadena. The room has hardwood and great light (see pic), a walk-in closet, and your own private storage space. The apt. has a balcony, an excellent kitchen space with a gas stove and rangetop, dishwasher, and large refrigerator, and there is an in-unit washer and dryer, central air, and even a bonus room (we could use as an office space/dining room, etc). You get your own off-street gated parking spot, and utilities+wifi is a flat fee of $200 monthly. If you are coming with your own furniture and decor, there will be plenty of space for it in this huge apartment! Pasadena is a lively, beautiful place with some of LA’s best restaurants, coffee shops, local activities, and hiking/running trails (the apt. is only a 10’ drive to several trailheads).

I am 30F, a neuroscience researcher at Caltech (postdoc) looking for other friendly young professionals to live with. I typically work long hours during the week so I prefer a quiet place to come home to. I usually keep to myself weeknights. Weekends I’m more social- I enjoy trail running, cooking, cleaning the house, and going out to explore LA museums, concerts, and comedy. I’m OK with visitors every once in a while but not too frequently. I rarely have people over but instead go out to hang out with my friends.
