Seeking 1 roommate to share 3brm home with me, a 40 yr old female and my dog and a cat. The room is 10.5 x 9 feet and the bathroom would be shared. Chef style kitchen with new appliances and two big yards with covered patios to enjoy the outdoors. I work in academics and would prefer someone in a similar situation. The utilities would be shared and are not included in the price listed. The utilities run high. None are included in the rent. It’s between $200-350 each per month. I know, I know,… but it is a 3 bedroom house and I’m willing to team up and do anything to get them down. ( i.e. conserve water/electricity). The 3rd bedroom is a guest bedroom/office. I’m an ecology nerd who is big on volunteering. I love art and spend my free time often creating different pieces or outdoors whenever the weather allows it, and sometimes even when it doesn’t. I also play guitar and enjoy almost all genres of music. At home, I like it pretty quiet and clean/tidy. But if I’m being honest the place gets a bit messy as the week goes on and I will straighten up as I have time. Then on the weekend I save a couple of hours to clean and then spend some time on the yard too. I would expect you to have pride in your home and participate in these upkeep activities too. I want the home to be a nice refuge from the loud and crazy world out there. While I’m working towards grad school, I’m a substitute teacher and therein, am in bed by 9pm most nights and would need it quiet after then. The only other roomates are my dog Finn (9yrs old rescue mix), and the cat, Eleanor Roosevelt.
