About the room

This is a mother in law unit with French doors that open up to a covered patio and garden area. This outdoor area has a fire pit and patio furniture as well as an inflatable hot tub. On the the upper covered deck there is another covered area with another gas fire pit. We love fire pits clearly because we also have a wood burning fire pit in the yard! There are a few garden area with fruits and veggies. There is a large rainier cherry tree, an Asian pear tree, apple tree, and another pear tree. This house is in a 70’s split level home and is 5 bed 2 bath without including the mother in law. The kitchen is currently being redone. This is a kitchenette. I ordered counters and a garage door from Home Depot 3 months ago and one garage door came and one side of the counters. It has been frustrating and with delays in supplies I had to wait to list the space. The kitchen will have black hardware, white cabinets, a black square modern sink, a black faucet, butchers block counters, and glass cupboards on the top. The space is furnished with a king size bed. This space would be a great for for a student or someone looking to stay for a few months. Since this is a kitchenette it might work for longer term, but that would be up to you. I am happy to FaceTime or post more pictures as the room progresses. I never imagined it would take this long to get supplies from Home Depot! Since everything is small and I had a vision for the space I had to wait on some of the items.

About the roomies

My name is Alisha and my partner Jeremy and I own this house together. We have three sons. Jeremy’s brother lives in the downstairs bedroom. He works weird hours and is not here often. Jeremy works in concrete. I usually bartend but I am not working at the moment. I am currently a student and in the fall will work on campus. This is a safe clean home but it’s not quiet or calm! We have kid and family energy. We are also generally loud and social. Our neighborhood is also loud. Right now as I am looking out into our cul de sac I see a bunch of kids riding bikes and playing. There are walking trails and a private neighborhood park directly behind our house. People play basketball and baseball at the park. This is a lively, working class neighborhood. We have one dog and one cat. The dog does not go on the furniture I am strict about this. The cat does what she wants, but usually has her spot by the window. This would function as a completely separate unit.
