About the room:

For rent is a private bedroom with closet that offers plenty of natural light through the clerestory windows. Bedroom will be unfurnished and you’d be sharing a bathroom with 2 other very clean housemates.

About the house:

The house was renovated with new finishes around 3 years ago with gas stove and decent sized fridge with updated plumbing fixtures. Washer and dryer are in the garage, so no need to go to the laundromat. There is also a storage room in the back if you have extra things to store, I can share photos if you’d like. The house also sits on a hill and offers expansive views of the city skyline, Bay Bridge, Oakland and parts of the bay all from the comfort of the living room. The sliding doors lead to an outdoor balcony, a great place to hangout with a beer and enjoy the views. There is one tandem garage spot available for $200/month. Short walk to 3rd street Muni and close to the bus stop on Palou to catch the 44 Bus.

About the house mates: A - Early 30s male working professional in biotech. He lives in 1st floor garage and keep to himself mostly and is rarely in the shared spaces. He’s very friendly, organized and neat. Enjoys biking, hiking, working out, cooking/baking, watching Netflix, listening to music and playing rec sports in the city. He’s usually busy with his new golden doodle pup that’s 1.5yo.

J (Me) - Late 20s male working professional in Architecture/Design. I live in the adjacent room and work on a hybrid schedule, I’m in the office 3 days/week. I’m down to earth, direct and pretty easy to get along with. I also mostly keep to myself, I’m pretty big into cars and enjoy tinkering on my GTI and going for drives on weekends. I also enjoy cooking/meal prepping. I spend my free time playing video games at home, if I’m not out hanging with friends. I occasionally like to have friends over for board games or movie nights - nothing rowdy/crazy.
