Lindsay's room

We are looking for 1 new roommate (male or female) to move in AUGUST 1ST and share our large 3-story colonial in downtown Ipswich.

$650 per month. Landlords need 1st months and security ($350) for move in. It is month-to-month but one roommate has been in the house since 2008.

We have one quiet cat, so we are not able to have more pets in the house.

You would have use of all common space as well as two rooms completely to yourself. (One room is the bedroom and is on the 2nd floor and the other room is on the 3rd floor.)

The bedroom that is available is large with a small closet and has a non-functioning fireplace (as does every room in the house) and 3 windows, each with sliding wooden shutters.

Common space in house:

-Kitchen (there are 2 fridges so each roommate gets half of one)

-Living room

-Seating nook

-Laundry room with washer and dryer

-2 Bathrooms

-Guest bedroom

***And any furniture that you have but can’t put in your bedroom or other room, can easily be integrated into the common rooms. - We aren’t opposed at all to moving things around.

-Free Parking (Plowed in winter)

-Decent size lawn (great for BBQ’s and gardening)

-Easy walk to commuter rail

-Near library and downtown Ipswich (great restaurants)

-For $20 you can get a resident beach sticker for Crane’s Beach, which lets you park for free ALL year, even in the summer.

Per person, the utilities run roughly about:

$800-$1000 per YEAR for heating oil

$35- $45 per month for electric

$30 per month for TV and wireless Internet

$30 per month for gas

Lindsay – Archaeologist and works for a state agency (40s)

Courtney – Teaches at an elementary school (40s)

Ari – works in food service (20s)

We get a long and tend to be very quite when home. Very much down to earth. This is not a party house but when we see each other we do talk and occasionally hang out watching TV or eat dinner together.
