About the room

YOUR ROOM You have the option of picking between two bedrooms. One bedroom has a balcony and other one is a little bigger but no balcony. You will have a private bathroom across the hall.

LEASE For the nervous tenants out there I do allow you to sign a 1 month lease that rolls over into a 6 month after 30 days.

MISC No cigarette smoke on the property. Cannabis allowed outside only. No pets. You’ll have private parking spot in the back or you can park on the street.

FURNITURE = your choice We have a bedroom set available that we can move in but we can also leave it empty. We can discuss details further on the phone.

HOUSE The house is 3 stories including an unfinished basement and detached garage. Bedrooms are on the second floor. I stay in the master bedroom and have a private bathroom. On the main floor (shared space) there is a kitchen, living room, dining area, and a half bath. It’s an open floor plan with a lot of natural light. The large fenced in back yard is a great place to relax with a grill and a fire pit.

NEIGHBORHOOD The house is located in the Brookland Park Neighborhood. We are in close proximity to public transportation, the public library, shops, restaurants, and bars. My favorite is Smoky Mug a local coffee shop, bar, and barbecue joint that is walkable and a great place to hang out or even go there to work. A few doors down there are nail salons, corner store, a pottery place, flower shops, liquor store and tons more… Half mile away is battery park and behind the house is a park with a baseball field and basketball courts. There is a bicycle friendly road (Richmond Henrico Turnpike) that takes you straight into Shockhoe (Downtown Richmond).

About the roomies

Currently it is just me and my indoor cat. I work as an electrician, ride a motorcycle and love nature. I work roughly 7-5 but hours can change. During the week I usually just do stuff around the house, watch tv or am out with friends.
