Hi, we are looking to fill a room in our bright and cozy house starting September 1, 2023. Rent is $807 per month which includes water and trash. We split gas, electricity, and wifi three ways each month (usually equalling to around $100 per person). The lease is for 1 year. Amount due on the day before move-in: $1572. (Security deposit $765 + September rent $807). Security deposit is paid to previous roommate.

About the House: The apartment is located on the first and second floor of a 1900s house with a second apartment located in the basement. It is bright and airy with lots of space for plants and crafts. Features include: -Shared storage space in a detached garage and crawl space. -Gas Stove -Dishwasher -Washer and Dryer -Side porch with garden space -Herb garden -An impressive back garden that includes a fire pit, pond, and lots of edible plants -Ample street parking -Walking distance from Creston-Kenilworth Park and many neighborhood bars and restaurants

Sorry, we cannot have any more pets in the apartment. This room is rated for single occupancy, so we unfortunately cannot host a couple.

We are two late twenty-somethings living with two young cats.

MB (she/her, 29 y/o) works as an installation artist by day and a club bartender by night. She enjoys tending her indoor and outdoor gardens, playing video games, going for hikes, doing crafts, and practicing yoga. Because of her work schedule, she regularly arrives home around 3am. She is conscious of her late schedule and tries to keep noise to a minimum when she gets home to not disturb the rest of the house.

Ashlin (she/her 29y/o) works as an outdoor educator and is about to begin grad school. She enjoys collecting trinkets, going on walks, Portland food adventures, doing crafts, and enjoying life with two new kittens-Toulouse and Chartreuse. She is a big BattleBots fan and hosts bi-weekly watch parties.

Toulouse and Chartreuse: These babies are almost 10 weeks old and are still learning about this big wide world. Toulouse is an adventure cat and socialite. He is very friendly and would love the new roommate who is a cuddle buddy and someone to play with. Chartreuse is a shy skeptic, and waits for his brother to tell him if something is safe and/or fun.

Together we like to: Host dinner parties, play board games, watch movies, and spend time in the park.

About You: -You are an LGBTQ friendly person who is between the ages of 25 and 35. -You will pay your rent on time each month and participate in paying utilities. -You do your dishes regularly (please). -You’re okay (and maybe even like) living with two cats. -You are respectful to your roommates’ sleep schedules, shared items, and personal belongings. -You are willing to participate actively in our weekly chore chart to keep our shared spaces clean and usable for all housemates. -You value coming home to a safe and quiet living space.
