We are Dylan and Bri (bios in the photo descriptions), mid-20s UC Berkeley staff / film-lovers excited to continue fostering a creative and cozy home, which we call The Treehouse

We moved here 2 years ago and have savored living amongst the redwoods and four ghost cats. It’s a lovely spot and we’d love to call it Home with someone who will love it as much as we do :)

We’ve also loved co-hosting events (especially concerts) with our neighbors, with whom we share the backyard. That neighboring unit will also be open in August, and Dylan’s partner Ariane is looking for a housemate to apply with (feel free to ask more about this). We’re looking to finalize housemate decisions and send applications by Sat 7/15.

• Chicana, ca-raised, 25 years old
• Academic Advisor at UC Berkeley; work 60% remote, 40% in person
• Cal alumna, studied film and psychology
• Marathon runner/long distance
• Avid movie watcher; currently trying to watch 300 movies by the end of the year
• Favorites include: West Side Story, Down With Love, Kill Bill, Josie and the Pussycats, Y Tu Mamá También, DEBs, Little Miss Sunshine and Bratz
• really into hosting screenings for friends at my home followed by discussion and snacks
• Love to rent movies from the local library
• Avid reader, mostly in self-help, essays, feminist theory, fiction with women, memoirs and Twilight

• Plant lover - have 14 plants from monsteras to pathos to cacti

• Hapa Filipino, ca-raised, 26yo, lived in Bay Area for almost a decade
• Cal alumnus, studied film and cognitive science
• Musician & artist (primarily drums, guitar, vocals, percussion, piano)
• Host shows & social events, love to perform, play in a band, frequent shows & screenings
• Interested in visual & word art
• Often uses projector, loves to watch films (favorites include slow cinema, poetic documentary, camp & queer cinema, abstract & avant-garde, surreal comedy)
• Love to engage in (and host) deep listening sesions
• Collecting CDs & cassettes is a big hobby (very wide musical interests)
• Love to climb (mostly gym bouldering, but interested in others)
• Play a vintage vibraphone in the house
