We’re looking for a woman or a fellow LGBT community member to take our 3rd bedroom (11’ x 12’). It comes almost entirely furnished, with a queen bed and mattress, nightstand with lamp, a desk and deskchair, and an upholstered bench, and gets great light. It has a closet that could fit a medium-sized dresser. The house has two full baths, and you would share the upstairs bath. Our house has a front and a back porch, a two-car garage, and small yards in the front and back. We have great patio furniture and a gas grill and a firepit. There is a large attic with tons of storage space and a washer and dryer in the basement. Our communal spaces are full of plants and are very cozy and lived-in; we love and take pride in our house! We have the chilliest landlords you could imagine, and we are a 3-minute drive/less than 20m walk from the Glenbrook train station, 7m driving from Stamford station (which is 40m on the MetroNorth to Grand Central). There are several walkable bus stops.

The rent for this room is $1100/mo. You would be responsible for 1/3 of the utilities (wifi, electric, gas), usually $150/mo in summer and $200/mo in winter. We are responsible for landscaping, snow removal, and taking the trash and recycling to the curb. We will not consider heterosexual cis men for this room, sorry. It is available now and the lease is up 5/30/24, so this is a ten-month rental.

We’ve been best friends for 15 years and now we’re roommates, and we are seeking a third roommate to round out our household. We love horror movies, board games, and our pets, two miniature schnauzers and one tuxedo cat. My roommate is a queer woman in her early 30s and I am a non-binary person in my late 20s using she/they pronouns. I work from home and one bedroom of this four-bedroom house is an office.
