We are renting the top floor of our home located in a quiet and safe neighborhood in the Redwoods, near downtown Boulder Creek. It is towards the end of a dead-end street with little to no foot/car traffic. It’s about a 1 mile to Highway 9/closest bus stop, and 2 miles to downtown Boulder Creek. The property sits on a half acre of land which surrounds the house with redwoods, succulents, and open space. The top floor of the house has its own full bathroom with claw foot tub/shower, good sized closet and split levels of living space which could be used as two bedrooms/sleeping areas or as bedroom & office, or whatever works best for you. It has 2 large living spaces divided by two steps and a hand rail. It is carpeted throughout, with the first level being (100 Sf). Then two steps up to the upper level with another(260 SF) of living space including a large closet/storage space (40 SF) and full bath (45 SF) with claw foot tub/ shower/sink. There are large ceiling to-floor windows and vaulted ceiling. Currently on the upper level, there is a California King bed, two side tables, and a tv stand. The lower level currently has a daybed, mini fridge, microwave and single burner. We plan to rent this furnished as is, but could possibly make adjustments depending on one’s situation. There is access to washer and dryer on the first floor of the home, as well as the kitchen, bar, and dining room. There is room for parking on the property.

Additionally, there is another small bedroom on the first floor of the home located right next to the door/staircase to the 2nd story, that we have been using for storage, but are open to renting this as well to the same tenant(s) for an additional fee, but is not mandatory. The room is about (100 Sf) with closet containing built in drawers. This room could be used as an additional bedroom or storage/office/ art studio/etc. and would be an additional $600 monthly.

We are looking for a tenant(s) that are employed with steady reliable income, no heavy drinking or drugs, no excessive house guests/parties, and respectable each others working schedules (quietly comes and goes as pleases but not excessively loud during the week nights). 420/cigarettes OK outside.

Month to Month lease but would like to find a long term tenant(s).

Price listed is per month for a single occupant- $2,000 Plus monthly utilities - water, electricity, propane, garbage, wifi -$200 Total rent due monthly - $2,200

If double occupancy- rent is $2,200 Plus monthly utilities - $300 Total rent due monthly for double occupancy- $2,500

If you are also interested in renting the additional bedroom on 1st floor - add $600 Damage deposit - $2000

First month’s rent and damage deposit due upon start of lease. Must be ok with background check, able to provide references and proof of income.

A little about us- my fiancé and I have lived here for 3 years. We are working professionals in our mid-thirties who enjoy arts and crafts, gardening, and hanging with our pet family consisting of 2 indoor/outdoor kitties and 2 small dogs (I am happy to accommodate a space of your own for gardening too!) We are laid back, “chill people”, and not “party people” and prefer a tenant(s) that is like minded and familiar with living in shared spaces, who will respect our home as their own.
