One unfurnished bedroom available in a really sweet 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment in Kensington. The room is large – 11x17 with two good sized closets. Could fit a king size bed in here if you wanted to. Walls are currently green but can be painted white if desired.

The apartment is on the second floor of a two story building. There is at least one window in every room, a large living room, sunny kitchen, and a relaxing balcony overlooking gardens.

Rent is $1100/month. We will split internet, gas, and electric bills (never more than $100/month). Move in date is August 1 (but can be flexible).

The building is a short walk to both the Church Ave and Ft. Hamilton F and G stops. It’s across the street from Green-Wood Cemetery and a 15 min walk from Prospect Park. You will be in a cute family neighborhood. There are lots of good options for delis, grocery stores, and restaurants.

I’m a 31yr old female working as a freelance set decorator and artist. I’m looking for a roommate who is a good communicator, respectful, and comfortable with themself. I’m relatively social but I also need a decent amount of alone time. I like to keep the place tidy and do a deep clean every so often because the landlord is a great guy and I want to maintain his space as well as he has for many years.
