Your tranquil, private second-floor retreat features a comfortable, queen platform bed with 12 generously-sized under-bed drawers and built-in headboard shelves with lights. For your comfort and convenience, there is an overhead ceiling fan with lighting, an alarm clock, a white noise machine, and black-out curtains plus blinds on the large windows overlooking the backyard. Bed linens and pillows are provided. This thoughtfully planned, carpeted bedroom has a walk-in closet with a barn door, laundry basket, hangers, and a closet organization shelf unit. Your spacious sanctuary is well-equipped, with a desk and office chair, a recliner, a floor lamp, a microwave and mini-fridge, a coffee maker, and a 32“ swivel wall-mounted smart Roku TV. Utilities, Wi-fi, and Satellite TV are included. (Housekeeping and laundry service are not included). Next door, your luxurious spa-like private bathroom has a deluxe vanity with double sinks, an elegant vanity mirror, a full-length door mirror, a natural stone-look tiled shower/tub combination with a rain head shower fixture, and generous storage space for you under the vanity. Towels and basic starter toiletry items are provided. There is a hairdryer and first aid kit in the vanity. The shared upstairs laundry includes a full-size washer and dryer, an ironing board and iron, a vacuum cleaner, broom, Swiffer, and a wall-mounted fire extinguisher. The upstairs bonus room offers a shared fitness center/home gym - with an exercise bike and weight machine, and a third living area. (Other upstairs rooms will be used by homeowners for offices and storage). The upstairs has a separate thermostat, and the home has newer well-maintained air conditioners, smoke alarms, and carbon monoxide detectors. It’s approximately 2-1/2 miles from Medical City Denton Hospital, 5-1/2 miles from Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Denton, 5-1/2 miles from Wise Health Surgical Hospital in Argyle, and less than 10 miles from Medical City Lewisville. It’s also less than 5 miles from the University of North Texas, less than 6 miles from Texas Womens University, and only 3 miles from North Texas Central College. About the roomies

Margaret and Doug are a mature empty nest couple with full-time weekday office jobs. Doug sometimes works from home. Margaret also runs a part-time business from home that involves almost exclusively off-site activities. They live a generally quiet and predictable lifestyle - early to bed and early to rise. Their previous landlord experience includes owning and managing a fourplex in Denton for several years. Doug and Margaret entertain very infrequently, more so over the holidays, and will have somewhat frequent visits from their adult children who live locally. They will make every effort to be welcoming and accommodating and ensure that your stay is comfortable.
This is a non-smoking, drug-free home. There is one large, friendly adult dog that is primarily outside during the day (weather permitting) and in a kennel overnight, an adult cat, and a kitten. The dog does not go upstairs. The cats cannot enter rooms when doors are kept closed. All pets in the home are neutered, fully vetted, and vaccinated. Tenants will not be permitted to bring additional animals of any kind due to potential conflicts with existing pets.
