Jonathan's room

Hello ladies and gents, my names is Jon and I’m looking to rent out a room in the 3 bedroom townhouse located off 26th and R. My current roomate is leaving the 24th of June and the room will be available on the first of July. Its a 2 story with 3 beds 2 1/2 bath and a garage. We have a washer and dryer, also a dishwasher. Very close to everything you need in the city. 2 blocks from the public transit stations, grocery store, corner market, bar, even a little theatre i have yet to wander into. The room is medium sized and shares a bathroom. ill measure and add to post pics when my roomie moves out. Also he might be leaving his furniture if thats something you might need. The train can be annoying but you get used to it.

A little about us, both roomies are guys in our 30s I mostly keep to myself usually work and sleep awkward hours and tend to be gone at least 1 weekend a month on average. I tend to hang with my fellow veteran buddies and coworkes regularly. The other roomate works early, is fairly active so between work and activities he’s home half of the day on average. We are pretty quiet but have our parties or gatherings every now and then. I like to have people over and cook dinner at least every couple weeks. We are clean but sometimes a little messy but nothing that would make you go ewww or smells bad. We are a bit nerdy if ask me and nice guys, you will be joining the 2 of us. The other roomate has a GF that comes by time to time she’s also nice. 420 friendly house we also drink from time to time. We respect privacy and the household. We mostly just check in with each other if we are doing something that will affect the house. So far we have had smooth easy living here. No fighting, no arguing we are adults that communicate properly. Or atleast try to.

Finding a roomate is easy finding a roomate that’s a good fit can be challenging. Really only a few things. We dont really want pets but can talk about it. The type and size of pet might matter. No smoking inside, be clean (includes self and room), responsible and respectful. And I don’t mean in a overly harsh way I just don’t want to see the same dirty dishes in the sink for multiple days. And pay bills/rent a few days before the 1st. If you see the full trash then empty it type thinking. We split bills 3 ways. But really just be a decent person and adult enough to take care of yourself and it will be great. We are not perfect and by no means expect that from our new roomate.
