The room is 18’ x 12’ with a walk in closet and a sink/vanity setup. There is a storage closet available in the garage too. (Great for a couple!) The place has two levels with the washer and dryer, as well as the full bathroom with a bathtub/shower, upstairs by the bedrooms. The downstairs has a half bath across from a coat closet. Outside is a fenced patio with lots of room for activities! Note: The majority of the decor and furniture in the whole place departed with the last roomie. So there is lots of space for your things and room for us to decorate together! The kitchen has newer appliances and a pantry. There is also a dining nook and a bar counter. The whole downstairs has newer hard flooring. Overall, the place is clean and in good order!

The townhouse is on Cowlitz land in the so called ‘Vancouver, WA’, 10 min from PDX, just off I-205 and Mill Plain. It’s available now for $875 per month (50/50 split) with a security deposit of one month’s rent and verified income. Utilities such as electricity, internet, water, sewer, garbage, etc, are all split as well. A well behaved cat is welcome, but there is a $35 per month pet rent charged by the landlord. A commitment to a minimum stay of six months is required, but length of stay beyond that is variable. There will be a roommate agreement between us laying out the details and you’ll be added to the lease with the landlord.

I’m a queer, non-binary, intersex, retro goth, Black person. I use they/them pronouns. I am a sex and body affirming relationship anarchist that’s heavily community focused. If I’m not spending my free time with a partner or my comrades in the PDX Queer Death Collective (SHAMELESS PLUG), I’m usually spending time percolating with a little fungi or chillin with a sci-fi or fantasy show or video game. I drink minimally and socially and I’m friendly to cannabis for others, though I don’t partake personally due to testing at work. I don’t have any pets myself but am looking to have more plant babies in the house! While there isn’t room for children to live here, I am good with kids (and animals), and I really enjoy deep, authentic, connections with people. I also love to dance with my friends!

When it comes to my routines, I’m gone regularly as I travel for work, though I am by nature a night owl and often sleep in and get home late from work or play. I spend most of my time at home in my room and don’t have guests over often. I also always give notice when it’s going to be someone who’s not been introduced yet (nobody likes coming out of the shower to a stranger in their house!). I always try to be considerate in living with others, communicating well, leaving spaces how I found them or better, and generally keeping in mind how my actions will affect others in the space. I of course mask in enclosed spaces out of the home or when close to others, especially at work.
