The house is in a really central location with a huge driveway that can fit 7 cars if needed, and there is a 2 car garage. you can turn around in the driveway easily which helps because it’s on a busy road i don’t like to back out of the driveway. the property is large and difficult to keep up with the lawn but we team up to keep weeds and grass according to city regulations ourselves. the property has been neglected for some years before we moved in so the property is relatively overgrown. there are two living spaces, one with a piano and seating and the other with seating and a TV. there’s a dining space and a very small kitchen with limited storage, but we’ve got a closet as a pantry for additional food storage. upstairs there are four bedrooms, one belonging to each me and cait, and one being a shared office / guest room. there’s a full size mattress, small desk, and keyboard in there, as well as a closet for more shared storage. this room has access to a shared linen closet with caitlin. 1.5 baths, so there’s a full bathroom upstairs that we use most often and a half bath in the laundry room downstairs. there’s a back pergola patio that is pretty old and suffers from the weather but we are hoping to get a small table out there sometime. there’s big windows downstairs with lots of light! the room is about 130 to 140% the size of the other rooms with a bigger closet, so the rent is $60 more expensive for this room than the other two rooms. it is big and on the north side of the house so it’s pretty quiet and shaded from the sun. the window goes out to the back yard. we have plants around the house and the house is fully furnished except the room. our posted rent price reflects a portion of the rent and the trash service, which are both paid on our tenant portal online. all utilities are to be paid split three ways between us, which i pay upfront and then request on venmo a few weeks beforehand.

About the roomies

i, logan (24, he/they), am a transmasc guy who works in food service and also teaching music lessons. i have a dog named finn who is anxious and a bit crazy but so so loving and smart 🤓. i have a boyfriend who comes over 1-3 nights a week and sometimes brings his cat. i also spend some nights over at his place. when i’m gone working or at my boyfriends, i always arrange to feed and take care of finn but he rings a bell to go outside so if he asks to go out and you’re around i’d appreciate the help!

caitlin (23, she/her) works as a budtender. she has a long haired cat named norman who is very big, crazy and beautiful 🤩. she’s really clean with norman’s litter and he spends most of his time chilling on the couch or in her room.

cait and i met almost 3 years ago and used to work together. both of us pull our own weight in the house. we try to keep the dishwasher available by emptying it early so that we can put our dishes in the dishwasher after use, and keep the small kitchen clear of dishes. we do sometimes wait just a couple days and one of us does a bout of dishes in one go when we can but keep track over time on a chore chart so we know we are both contributing fairly. the chore chart and it’s system also apply to other household tasks like taking out the trash, cleaning the bathrooms, and sweeping/vacuuming. besides my boyfriend we have guests over very occasionally like my siblings, our old & current coworkers. we like to host parties for holidays but they’re not backyard ragers, just like 8 to 15 people in the living room chatting playing games and sometimes drinking and smoking. we both smoke weed indoors and don’t drink much.

the house is a outdated and run down in some ways but the property management company is not the best so that’s why, and we get by just fine but periodically deal with them time to time. This means the carpets, walls and outlets are old, and the yard has been neglected by the landlord, but we keep things cute and have shampooed the rugs and everything to make the situation as comfortable as possible.

we are looking for someone who is willing to contribute to shared spaces and is communicative and timely with bills. if possible we would like to find someone who does not have a pet because we are only allowed to have 3 animals on the lease and cait is hoping to get a second cat if all fares well.
