About the room

Looking for a housemate to apply together at an apartment that I used to live at from 2018-2020 in the University Heights/North Park/Hillcrest area. Newly remodeled 2b/2ba apartment (about 900 sqft). Price is an estimate so it could be a bit higher. I’ve been in contact with the property manager and have leads on a recently remodeled unit being available on 7/1/2023. Great location, garage parking, close to everything even if you don’t have a car. Walking distance to Balboa Park and lots of great restaurants and bars. Building itself is really quiet, stays pretty cool even with no AC. If you have any questions about what it was like living there, feel free to ask! I lived there before the units were remodeled so if anything the place should be better than before.

Security deposit is unknown at this time so you can ignore the amount.

I do have some pictures I can share, but they don’t really do the place justice. I can also send you a link to the website so you can get more info. All I can say is that this is one of the nicest places I’ve ever lived and that I have pretty high standards, the only reason it’s cheaper is because the building is old (hence the no AC). The master bedroom is huge (roughly 200sq ft) and has an attached bathroom. The second bedroom is around 120sqft and has enough space for a queen or full size bed as well as a desk and chair. The bathroom is one room over. I’m fine with either room depending on your budget/preference. I’ll update with more info when I get an official price/move in date. For more details about the place send me a message and I can give you the link to the website as well as answer any questions you have.

About the roomies

I work from home full time for a law firm and often work out of cafes to get out of the house. I’m very neat and organized and have a side business cleaning/organizing for others. I would prefer you are the same or at least can keep the common areas clean.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, exploring the city/restaurants, playing video/board games or just relaxing. I am a little high maintenance but very sociable. I usually keep to myself so there is no pressure for us to interact beyond roommate responsibilities.

The most important thing to me is that we communicate clearly about house related finances and plans. I have no problem with you having people over or staying up late, but I would only ask for a heads up about any plans you have if it might affect me. Of course, I will do the same!

If this specific apartment doesn’t work out, I am also open to looking at other places if we get along well. Let me know if you have any questions or are interested!
