Neighborhood: The neighborhood is a great residential neighborhood that is close to everything the city has to offer. There are bars and restaurants close by and we are easily accessible to public transportation; 12 minute walk to both the Green/Yellow Line Mt Vernon Sq station and the Red Line NOMA station. 15 minute walk to Union Station where the Amtrak trains and major bus lines are located. 25 minute walk to the National Mall where the US Capitol building and Smithsonian museums are located.

Parking/Biking: There is ample street parking around Dunbar High School. There are two bike share locations within 2 blocks of our house.
