Attic room with skylight opening to Oakland/Berkeley hills in our North Oakland Victorian. This room is part of a large upstairs rental space that has 2 separate bedrooms and a full bathroom. Your room partly furnished. Between bedrooms is a common space with a partial kitchen – refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, hotpot, etc. Utilities , hottub, electrical and all else INCLUDED. The rent is the only charge

We are a couple (science teacher and psychotherapist) looking for a quiet tenant to share the upstairs space with a renter who occupies the second bedroom. She is a college senior who also works. The upstairs unit is accessed by stairs near the house’s rear entrance, which makes the space almost a separate apartment. You would be welcome to use the downstairs kitchen, laundry, hot tub and garden. Ample storage, space for bicycle in garage. Twice a month a housekeeper will clean your bathroom and vacuum the common space (no cost to you).

If you are considering renting a room on 60th Street, go for it! Bob and Roberta are some of the nicest people around. They are very welcoming, generous and genuine.

The rooms upstairs are filled with light with nice big windows. There is high speed internet and good water pressure in the shower. The downstairs studio is spacious and has a great layout. There is a washer and dryer as well.

You will feel welcome to cook in the kitchen, use the jacuzzi in the backyard and pick fresh lemons and oranges to enjoy. You can also help yourself to the other fruit and vegetables in the backyard such as strawberries, blackberries, asparagus and potatoes. You can also grow your own! The neighborhood is peaceful and the neighbors are friendly.

There is a farmers market that is open on Tuesdays, 4 blocks away and a corner store one block away. There is a park up the street that has a field, playground, basketball and tennis. The bart is a 10 minute walk (Ashby Bart). The #12 bus is 2 blocks away and will take you directly to Bart. The F bus takes you to San Francisco and you can catch that 2 blocks away. Tilden National Park has some of the best trails in the nation and it’s about 10 minutes to get there by car.

I give this place 5 stars (out of 5 stars). If there is a room available at this place I recommend you rent it!
