I’m currently looking for 1-2 room mates to cohabit my house The double closet room (blue) is $1,300 + utilities The single closet room (green) is $1,200 + utilities If a single individual would like to rent both rooms, it would be $2,000 + utilities

If you do have animals there will be a $50 monthly pet fee. $1,000 deposits required with first months rent - $500 of which is refundable as long as there is no damage to the house.

I am open to rental term length. Preferably I’d like to stick to either 6 or 12 month leases but I am flexible and willing to work with you if you need something specific.

Each room is on the second level of a historic bungalow in the heart of downtown salt lake. Close to the Capitol and the 600 N I-15 exit. The green room has a substantial walk in closet with a built in dresser. The blue room has two walk in closets with built ins. Both rooms have massive windows that get sun all day long and have sunset views (especially the green room )

Also upstairs are a guest bedroom that can be used by the room mates at any time as long as they ask all house mates before inviting people for stays longer than two nights. Along with the guest bedroom there is an office space that is available to all house mates as well. My bedroom is on the first floor, so both room mates will be upstairs down the hall from one another. There is one bathroom upstairs and a second bathroom on the main level that can be used by either room mate as their personal bathroom or as an extra when needed (I have my own separate bathroom that I use).

There is a substantial fenced yard and a large, gated driveway that easily fits 3 cars as well as a two car garage. I am looking for women, queer folk. Ideally in an age range of 24-40. Not really open to having male room mates, but that can be considered in a case by case basis. It would be preferred if you do not have pets or pet allergies. I have one dog and one cat - I will allow pets on a case by case basis as my dog is dog aggressive and only does well will submissive dogs so we would have to have them meet prior.

I am a 27 year old Aquarius who loves all things design, music and being with my loved ones. This past year I’ve really been focusing on building my relationships with my friends. So I love having the girls over for a good book club, craft night or whatever we think of that time!

I bought this house two years ago and have been working on renovating it since! That means everything in the house is brand new and freshly remodeled. I am ok with rooms being painted as long as you run the color by me first. I’m also fine with you hanging shelves and art on the walls - and truthfully, I am very relaxed when it comes to things. I just require three things from tenants:

Reliability: paying rent and utilities on time is a must unless we have talked about it prior and an exception has been made

Trust / Respect: Only inviting over people who are respectful to all other house mates. Not taking other house mates belongings without permission Not invading the personal space of other house mates.

Honestly / openness: I am a firm believer in open conversations and speaking directly. That means if there are any concerns you have, no matter how little or big, please just talk to me immediately. I am an extremely understanding person and I promise I will do my very best to accommodate the issue.
