We have two bedrooms in a three bedroom available 09/01/2023. The total rent for the entire apartment is $3,350. Rent can be split based on room sizes + utilities, or it can be split equally + utilities. For reference: the two smallest rooms are currently $1,005 each, and the biggest room is being rented for $1,340, but as stated above the rent can be split equally between roommates if that is preferred. The smallest room is opening up as soon as the end of June. Beneit and I are currently sharing that room, and we make it work and are comfortable, so it would definitely be suitable for one individual. We will be moving into the medium-sized room at the end of June as one of the roommates is leaving then. Utilities not included in rent are electricity and gas. Laundry is shared throughout the building (two other apartments in the building) and it is located in the basement. It’s a nice apartment, recently updated within the past couple years, hardwood floors. Tile floors in the kitchen & bathroom, with subway backsplash, granite counter tops, and a dishwasher. Nice stainless steel appliances. Storage in the basement. It is a top floor apartment, so it gets plenty of sunlight.

Close access to Airport & Maverick stations on the Blue Line, plus a few bus lines, & free ferry access with Charlie Card from Lewis Wharf to Long Wharf in the North End during the summer months. Parking is by permit parking on the street. There is a Shaw’s grocery store right down the street, plus a CVS, Marshall’s, and Walgreens as well. Lots of green space in the Eastie area. Eastie is a very friendly and welcoming community, and the neighborhood is pretty and full of pleasant people. Lots of restaurants nearby as well, such as Angela’s, Rino’s, Mi Rancho, Montecristo, and Pandebono, among others.

About the current roommates: we are a couple (30 year old male, and 25 year old female). We share a room in the apartment currently, & are looking to stay in the apartment and the East Boston area. We were offered to sign a new one year lease, so we would need two new roommates to sign a new lease with. We both work full time, but in the Fall & Spring I attend college studying Elementary Education, so I return to working part time. I will also be working in a local elementary school. We both work late nights, so hopefully that is okay, but we are quiet & respectful of those we live with. We like to keep a very clean house & would appreciate it if the prospective roommates are of that same mindset, at least in the common areas. We are outdoorsy & enjoy being at the beach, kayaking, sailing, & going for bike rides. My partner likes to OneWheel as well, so anyone who also enjoys that activity (or is interested in learning about it) is very welcome. Female or male roommates, doesn’t matter to us. We prefer to have roommates between our ages, but that is not a dealbreaker. We also really appreciate honest & open communication between roommates. No smoking in building, and absolutely no parties. We tend to sleep in late, and stay up a little late, but we make sure we are quiet. We also like to watch TV and find new music to listen to, so we are always open to new suggestions.
