House share in downtown Helena. Short walking, biking, and driving distance to everything. $800 plus utilities. Lovely craftsman-style home with beautiful covered sun porch and small yard for entertaining. Private room on first floor with shared bath. (OR you could occupy the two basement rooms and the basement bathroom. Rent decreased to $700 for that arrangement.) Furnished guest room for visiting family and friends. Kitchen comes with all the gadgets. Theater nook and home gym/dance and yoga studio in the basement. Laundry room with washer/dryer. Nice, quiet neighbors. This is not cheap tenement housing with people stacked on top of each other; this is a “2023 affordable” quality house share with space to be human.

I wake early and sleep at a reasonable hour (10-11 pm). I do sleep at the boyfriend’s house a couple days a week. I have a handsome and very friendly house cat named Hamilton. Another calm and friendly cat is negotiable. No dogs. No couples. Looking for a friendly, hardworking, and cleanish roommate. No unemployed anti-social room dwellers, night walkers, or trash hoarders please. Been there, done that, no fun for me. Must be able to pass a thorough background check with property management company: credit, employment, criminal, and rental history. Looking for a normal, pleasant person to share a home with, and possibly a cup of coffee or meal sometimes as well. I’d like to like the person in the room next door.
