I’m looking for a female roommate for a colorful 2 bed/2 bath apartment in the Madison South neighborhood of NE Portland near Rocky Butte. Walking distance to food, shops, bus stops, trails, parks, and seasonal farmers market.

The room is about 11x12 and light and bright with big windows. You’ll have your own connecting private bathroom. The rest of the apartment is furnished but the room will be empty for you.

-$750/month plus half of utilities (~$100 for water, gas, electric, & internet) -In-unit washer and dryer -Dishwasher -Gas fireplace -Patio -Next to the magical zen center with little trails, gardens, and meditation hall -Plenty of parking on the street but there’s also the option to rent a one car garage with storage space -Maintenance is super responsive and quick to fix things -Upstairs unit - sorry, not ADA accessible -Must love cats! Three very friendly little loves live here and they will want to hang out with you! I would love to welcome more pets but we’re maxed out sadly -LGBTQ+ safe -Month to month, but I’m looking for at least a 3 month commitment through September

Looking for: Open communication is big to me, when things come up, I would rather address them early and I welcome your thoughts on any subject. I am pretty sensitive to my environment and appreciate cleanliness, picking up after yourself, mutual respect and understanding. I don’t have strict rules otherwise, I’m a live and let live kind of person, within reason. :) You’ll need to be approved by the property manager - stable income is a requirement. Please no cigarette smokers.

I’m a 36 year old moving towards my second career and am currently a full time+ chiropractic student at University of Western States. I’m a social introvert who loves hiking, yoga, hot springs, and walking my cat. I don’t have a ton of time for hanging out but in the free moments I love good talks, laughing, and deeply supporting the people in my life. Having a peaceful, calm home environment that is recharging and centering is important to me. I use natural cleaning products, have a Berkey water filter system, and keep a healthy omnivorous diet. I occasionally have friends over ~2x/month and am very considerate of noise levels and letting you know beforehand. I often go out of town on the weekend to seminars or camping/adventure trips.
