North Hermitage Avenue

My roommate is moving out when our lease is up, and I really like this apartment and neighborhood!

The apartment is a 3 bed/2 bath garden apartment with a backyard in Lakeview (5 minute walk to Irving Park brown line). One of the bedrooms is used as a shared office, so this would be good for someone who works a remote or hybrid schedule.

There is an in unit washer/dryer, new appliances, pantry, and a closet for storage. The available bedroom has an attached bathroom. This is a pet friendly apartment (there is a pet rent). I like to keep the common spaces fairly clean, and the landlord doesn’t allow smoking in the apartment.

We are close to Trader Joe’s and the Southport Corridor. It is about a mile from Wrigleyville. The neighborhood is very safe and the neighbors are friendly. There is an annual block party, too.

The landlord will need to do a credit and background check and requires first and last month’s rent, but no security deposit. The landlord lives in the top floor apartment and is very nice and responsive.

I am a 23 year old who moved to Chicago last year after graduating from Ohio State. I am a civil engineer who works a hybrid schedule.
