Welcome to W 97th Street - a lively yet welcoming street where you can also find peace - in my home! Just ten minutes to Lakewood or to the Cleveland Zoo, this home is a duplex (upstairs/downstairs). The downstairs is currently occupied. For rent is the second bedroom of the upstairs apartment.

The room is available immediately and is either furnished or unfurnished. Utilities are included in the rent. There is a shared bathroom and kitchen.

The room is 10’ x 8’ with hardwood floors and a closet. A queen bed is included if you’d like, as well as a TV with streaming services you can use and a storage cube unit, and a lamp. One window allows plenty of natural light. There is laundry in the basement you are free to use.

The apartment includes a driveway to keep your car off the street and extra storage in the attic if you need it.

This can be month-to-month if desired. My partner is in the military and overseas, so I may move out at any time after about December. You may be able to take over the full rent and apartment at that time, but we’ll see when we get there!

I am a woman in my 30s who works two full-time jobs from home. I am looking for a roommate who is also employed and who is respectful of shared space. You don’t have to be insanely clean. I’m too busy (and sometimes have chronic illness flare-ups) to be all the time as well. I get it. I just ask you to be reasonable and don’t allow things to get out of control.

I do have a cat. She’s super sweet and will love you, but you can feel free to shut her out of the room if you want. No hard feelings. I’ve had and met a lot of cats, but she is the most well-behaved and kind cat I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting.

As far as quiet time goes, my sleep is important to me. I ask for quiet between about 11 pm and 8 am. I work 9AM - 6PM Monday - Friday and 7AM - 10PM on some Saturdays and Sundays, but it doesn’t have to be silent when I’m working. Just not loud.

I enjoy spending my free time playing video games, watching anime, reading, meditating, doing yoga, and playing with my cat. I am looking for a roommate who is also calm and friendly.

No smoking anything indoors, please. My cat and I have asthma. No drugs or drug use.
