About the room
Spacious, unfurnished private room available for rent on the second floor of a large 5-bed, 4-bath house in a peaceful gated community located in Avalon Park. This room features its own bathroom and offers a quiet retreat within a friendly neighborhood.
The house itself is a 2 story property with a large fenced backyard that overlooks beautiful conservation land, providing a scenic view. Rent includes electric, water, lawn maintenance (required by HOA), and fast Wi-Fi. Cable, however, is not included. To move in, a deposit of $550, along with the first month’s rent of $1,100 is required at the signing of the lease - will pro-rate if we start any other day than the 1st of the month. Proof of employment is mandatory, and a written lease must be signed one week in advance.
The location is highly convenient, with various amenities just minutes aways, including gas stations, fast food, grocery stores like Walmart & Publix, parks, coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping plazas like Waterford Lakes. Major highways such as 408, 417, and 528, as well as schools like UCF, Valencia College East, and Seminole State, are also within close proximity. Commuting to Colonial Drive (50) takes just a few minutes, and popular destinations like Cocoa Beach, national parks, and springs are all within an hour’s drive.
The community is securely gated with code access, ensuring a safe living environment. The neighborhood is well maintained by the HOA and is brightly lit at night, with holiday lights adding a festive touch during the holiday season. Nature lovers will appreciate the surrounding wildlife, trails, and woodlands.
Downtown Avalon is a few minutes away offering many shops, restaurants, parks and events. Within the community, a neighborhood park provides various recreational facilities such as sitting areas, playgrounds, grills, tennis courts, basketball courts, and lake views.
Please note that no couples, kids, smoking inside the house aside from glass, or pets (including service/support animals) are allowed. About the roomies
You will be sharing the house & common areas with myself, 28 & my brother, 26. We are both very driven working professionals that work remote at home so we do appreciate a quiet space during normal working hours.
We are extremely respectful and value privacy above all else. We are very big on communication and like to be very honest & straightforward. In the same way, we would like someone who is amicable and respectful who can also pick up after themselves as well as contribute to the home looking clean - a dish or two every so often is not the end of the world.
We prefer a quiet, keep to yourself roommate where we don’t have to worry about the person bringing random people to our house especially if we leave town. Gamer’s & movie fanatics are super welcomed lol.
