About the house: The home is a beautiful 3 bed, 3 bath (1 half, 2 full), 1,425sqft 3 story house (to include a fully finished basement). It has a 2-car driveway and a large fenced-in backyard.

About the rental: I will be renting out one private, fully-furnished bedroom (located on the top floor, including a full-sized mattress and bedframe, two nightstands, and a dresser) and a private full bathroom (located in the basement). Shared spaces: The living room includes a couch, coffee table, and TV. The kitchen is large and has ample room for cooking, meal-prepping, etc. It includes bar stools for the island and a dining area. The fridge has filtered water and ice dispensers. Kitchen items like pots/pans, tableware/drinkware, coffee pot/tea kettle, and cooking utensils are intended to be shared with my roommate. The basement serves as an office space with room for two desks, a laundry room, and a gym. Gym equipment currently includes a barbell, a hex bar, rogue weights, adjustable dumbbells, kettlebells, a bike, and medicine balls. My squat rack was too tall for the basement but I will be purchasing another soon.

Price: $1,500 per month. Utilities/amenities (electricity, water, propane, high-speed internet, ADT security system with cameras) are included in this price. The security deposit will be equal to one month’s rent ($1,500).

The minimum lease term is 6 months. The lease will be up for renewal after 12 months.

I am in a Clinical Psychology Ph.D. program at USUHS and am active-duty military. I spend my free time hanging out with my dogs and reading/studying. My dogs are both spayed females who are crate-and potty-trained. One is a German Shepherd and the other is a smaller pit-mix.

My ideal roommate: I would like to give priority to active duty and/or medical professionals in the area for work or school.

Disclaimers: For the safety and security of my 2 dogs, I will not allow other pets in the home. Smoking in the home will also be prohibited. I will rent to only 1 individual (no couples, children, etc.).
