District Drive

The space available for rent is an unfurnished bedroom and bathroom in a 2-bedroom 2-bathroom apartment located in Biltmore Village which is less than an 8-minute drive to the heart of downtown Asheville. This apartment is located on the 5th floor (top floor) of the apartment building with neighbors only on one side of the apartment. There is both a staircase and elevator in the building. The apartment complex was built in 2018. Amenities which are all located in the same building as the apartment or just outside include a gym, yoga studio, clubhouse that has TVs and a pool table, gas grills, a pool, and a gas firepit.

The apartment has a balcony that overlooks Biltmore Village. I already have patio furniture, a couch, TV in the living room, some dishes, and kitchen appliances. There is a washer and dryer in the apartment that is provided by the apartment complex. If you have things for the apartment, I am open to seeing what we can use and incorporate into our shared living space.

Your part of the rent would be $1075 + half of the cost of utilities. So your total cost would be around $1,187 per month. You would also need to prove through bank statements, paystubs, or a letter from your employer that your gross monthly income is at least 3 times the base rent. This is a policy of the apartment complex.

A little about me… I have lived in Asheville for almost 6 years and love it here. I was born and raised in North Carolina, but I grew up in the eastern part of the state and gradually worked my way west. I am a big foodie and have tried almost all the restaurants in the area. I also love beer and bourbon. I have been to most of the breweries in the area and have a pretty decent bourbon collection. After taking a couple of year hiatus, I recently got back into golf and joined a local golf club. I also enjoy yoga, going to the gym, kayaking, tubing, hiking, and going to concerts.

I am a responsible and respectful adult who is a Mathematics Instructor at a community college in a neighboring county. During the weekdays I am generally in bed by 10PM and up by 7 AM. I would be respectful of my roommate’s schedule and ask them to be mindful and respectful regarding my schedule. The apartment complex does enforce “quiet hours” between 10PM and 8AM and smoking is not allowed in the apartment or on the premises.
