Room/ house: rent is $900 for one room and includes all utilities. Rent may be negotiated if interested in both rooms. Room can be furnished or unfurnished. Will consider reduced rent in exchange for yard work, small home repairs, cleaning etc.
One bathroom for those 2 rooms. Kitchen, office area, living room, backyard, laundry, community swimming pool in summer. Peaceful, supportive, and kind environment. Communication, patience and mutual respect is important. Please note: My job is very demanding and unpredictable during the day so I may not be able to respond quickly. I will respond early mornings and early evenings for the most part. It is important for me to find the right match so I will want to chat before deciding to offer the room to someone. About me:: 47 year old social worker who works at home some days and office and in the field other times. Activist, artist and mutual aid organizer. 2 dogs. One is a an obnoxious but very loving labradoodle who takes time to adjust to a new person and the other is a chihuahua who judges people by how well they give belly rubs. I’m sorry but I can’t accept cats. I am Queer friendly and further “left” than mainstream. Would prefer someone who likes a more “family style” environment. Shared responsibilities, safe physically and emotionally, and supportive of individual needs, Communication is a must.
