Bright medium sized bedroom (11ft x 10ft) and private full bathroom . The room available for rent is in a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home, located in a quiet and nature filled neighborhood right along the edge of the American River. The bedroom has an east facing window with a beautiful garden view and amazing morning light. This bedroom can come furnished or unfurnished. Furnishings include a full size bed frame and brand new Casper mattress. Plus 1 large reading/armchair.

House amenities: peaceful and lush front and back yard with hammocks and plenty of room to garden and soak up the sun. Backyard also includes a hot tub, bbq and garden plot to grow veggies! Washer & dryer is included, and spare storage in the garage and laundry room.

Overall this is a great area for people who enjoy the outdoors, easy access to the river!! 10 min drive to CSUS . We are close enough to the 50 highway to have easy commutes to downtown, but far enough away where there isn’t noise pollution from the highway. Within walking distance to bus lines and the light rail station on Folsom Blvd. Easy and safe street parking.

We are J and M, an established couple in their early 30’s from San Francisco. J moved up to Sacramento in 2021 to attend a master’s program at Sac State. She graduates in the fall and works full time for a nonprofit. M has a passion for philosophy, music , politics and foreign policy. M moved up to Sacramento recently to reunite with J and is training to enter a new career path. We both work from home several days of the week, but have a separate home office so our business days are not taking over the common areas of the house. We both enjoy cooking, reading, listening to music, spending time outdoors, exercising, and getting to know our new city! We are generally very chill friendly, open, laidback and respectful folks and we are looking for the same qualities in a new roomie.
