Genesis's room

Unfurnished private bedroom downstairs with its own bathroom inside in a two story apartment. Has a large mirrored closet, heater and AC. You’ll live in a wonderful Hollywood apartment with amazing views of the west side of Hollywood and gorgeous palm trees. A few minutes walk away from the Walk of Fame, Ralph’s, Target, Runyon Canyon, LA Fitness, Hollywood Bowl. Apartment has a balcony, includes 1 parking space (tandem), laundry facility, pool, gym and water for utility. Electricity and internet are not included, and will be split between us (Venmo/Zelle).

Kitchen, living and dining room areas are already furnished. If you bring something extra, can be discussed to add around the common spaces.

It’s a beautiful, clean and organized living area. It is expected to stay as such at all times. It’s a smoking free home. No smoking inside the house or on the balcony. NO pets as we have carpeted floors and building doesn’t allow it.

I’m absolutely sure you’ll fall in love with this place. It’s gorgeous, spacious, relaxing and quiet. No loud neighbors.

I’m Genesis and I’m from Puerto Rico! I speak English and Spanish and would love to learn Portuguese, Italian and French. I’m passionate about the performing arts, I’m currently an actor in training and work during the day. I also like to read, nap, watch movies/series and write. I respect sleeping, working, studying and nap time. Will not be noisy while these 4 are happening in the house and expect the same respect in return.

I enjoy having a calm, passive, communicative, considerate and clean household. I mind my own business, clean up after myself and will never intervine with your personal stuff. All the while, I ask the same in return with my future rommie.

I love to travel and go to new places when I can. It’ll be lovely to also have a few nights out with my roommate and take care of each other, after all, we will be sharing a home and that’s sacred for me.

I’ve lived here for a year and a half and this place is my sanctuary. I’m looking for someone who also needs their home to be a peaceful environment.

If any of this sounds appealing to you please, READ the following carefully:

• RESPONSIBLE. Pay your rent on time. Venmo or Zelle any split cost of internet, electricity, etc on time. I will not cover for you, so you are a person that’s wise with your finances.
• RESPECT. I’m a chill person and I will not fight you, either physically or verbally. Respect of our private spaces, your bedroom and bathroom is your own and I have my own. There’s no need to go into our private spaces.
• COMMUNICATION. We’re adults. We must address any issues or concerns in a friendly manner. Always. I don’t want to live in a tense environment, and I don’t want you to feel that way either.
• CLEAN AND NEAT. After spending time in the common spaces, clean and pick up after yourself. We must be aware of this always. I can’t live in a dirty, disorganized place. We’ll schedule to take turns when each of us needs to clean the house, and we must clean regularly.
• GUESTS. Should always be discussed prior when we’re bringing someone to the apartment and to stay the night. No strangers. No one-night stands every night. No random people. Clean and pick up after your guests leave.
• NOISE. I’m noise sensitive and TV and Music always be kept to a minimum. Unless we talk about it and we’re both okay with it. (I do enjoy loud music every now and then and dance around the house). Yolo.
• SHOES. It’s a pain to keep a carpeted floor clean, so no shoes around the house. Keep your shoes and coat in your room, not in the living room. It looks ugly and messy.
• FOOD. You’ll have your own space in the fridge and your own space in the cabinets. If I have something you need, ask before grabbing. You will do your own groceries and cooking. There’s plates, silverware, glasses and utensils already and I don’t mind sharing kitchen supplies, unless you’re strict about something in particular. Do treat everything with care if you’re using something that is not your own. Replace if there’s any damage or accident. If you already have some of your own supplies, doesn’t hurt to have more.
• DECORATION. The house is pretty decorated as is. If you have something you’re bringing with you to add, let’s discuss it together first. We should both be on the same page to add/redecorate.
• RELIABILITY. LA is my home and wish for you to this also be your home. Looking for someone that wants to stay long term in LA. If you have a sudden change of plans, please advise with one month and a week prior.
