Looking for a female candidate to fill one bedroom in a first floor 2 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment in East Arlington. The room will be available on 9/1/23.

The room: -Good size and can fit a large bed. The bed shown in the picture is a full. -One window. -Closet with shelving that allows for ample storage space (as shown in photos).

The apartment/building: -Large living room with 3 windows that allow for great lighting. -Large kitchen with a large pantry and lots of counter space. -An extra room in the back of the house off the kitchen. I’m currently using it as a workout room, but happy to discuss other ideas! -Washer and dryer in the basement (no cost). NOTE: the lease only includes hookups, but the previous tenants left their washer and dryer behind. It is the tenants’ responsibility if either/both need to be replaced. I have not had any issues with them since moving in. -Yard space with a grill and picnic table. -Driveway parking (2 tandem spots). -Lots of basement storage available!

Rent/lease: -Rent is $1,000/month per person. This includes electricity! -Tenants split gas and wifi/cable. Gas bill varies depending on the time of year (winter vs. summer months). The most we have each paid for utilities is about $120/month. This was in the coldest winter months. -The lease starts on 9/1/23 and runs for one year until 8/31/24. -Landlord will do a thorough background check including credit, employment, and references. -No pets. -No smoking.

Location: -10 minute (.5 mile) walk to Arlington Center which is full of great restaurants and coffee shops. -Numerous grocery stores within a 10 minute drive including Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, and Stop & Shop. -Walking distance to several bus stops. -Close to many walking/running paths including the Mystic River.

About me: -26 year old female occupational therapist. -Social and enjoy meeting new people, but also enjoy my space and alone time. -Clean and organized. It is important to me that my roommate keeps common living areas clean and picks up after herself. -Hobbies/interests include exploring new walking/hiking trails, going to the beach, reading, spending time with family and friends, and attending music events (live bands, concerts). -My close friends and parents visit from time to time, but I do not have visitors on a regular basis.
