Private (unfurnished) room with attached bathroom in a safe, quiet and clean neighborhood.

The complex has 2 pools, 2 laundry facilities, tennis courts, a volleyball area and a gym. It is just minutes away from the 10 fwy, shopping and food. Full access of the apartment and complex amenities. Rent and utilities will be split 50/50 which can total as high 1300 for everything during the summer months or 1100 during the winter. I will not be making payment arrangements and you will need to submit an application with the complex to get added to the lease.

All the neighbors are very friendly and we look out for each other.

I am a quiet and clean individual that works from home. I have a senior dog (Lulu) that has bursts of puppy energy and loves to cuddle. But she does bark a lot and that’s not something I can control. She is hypoallergenic and does not shed! I enjoy all things horror and true crime and my home decor reflects this. I am an LGBTQ+ advocate and supporter of basic human rights (like the freedom to make decisions over our own bodies).

I like to occasionally have game/movie nights but I mostly just hang out on the couch binge watching a show or reading. I am organized, considerate, and will always communicate when I’ll be home/gone or if others will be coming over. I am a non-smoker/non-cannabis user and would prefer the same in my roommate.

I’d prefer a female roommate but am willing to make an exception for the right person. It’d be nice to move someone in right away to help with the cost of living, but I have some PTSD from the last couple roommates. I found that my mental health really declined over the last 2 years due to my living arrangements and I have worked extremely hard to create a space that heals my soul. That means I am being extra selective with whom I bring into my home and I won’t apologize for being picky.

Our last 2 roommates had cats that both bullied Lulu, so unfortunately cats are no longer welcome. I am also allergic to dogs that shed but will still welcome them if the person is a good fit. No couples, regular overnight guests or children.
