Elizabeth's room

I live in a 100+ year-old building in downtown Macon, GA. My apartment is right next to the Mercer Law Campus and within 2 miles of the Mercer Campus. The building is just on the edge of downtown. It is a 5-10 minute walk to get to all of the restaurants/bars in downtown. The apartment itself is a little over 2,000 sq feet. 3 beds, 2 baths. The living room and dining room are big and open. The kitchen is a little on the smaller side. There is a small laundry room, already installed, with a washer and dryer in the apartment. I’m looking for 2 roommates, so you may see another one of my postings. This one is for the larger of the 2 rooms available, it is 13x12sq ft room with an 8x8 sq ft “book nook” as part of the room. It is a very big room, has lots of windows, and has access to the balcony. It has a fairly large closet, but not as big as a walk-in. This room does not have its own bathroom but would share the full-sized one in the hallway with the other room I am trying to rent out. This apartment building is old, so there are some quirks to it, but the apartment has a washer, gas dryer, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, gas stove/oven, electric AC, and gas heat.

I would be the one staying in the “master” bedroom. The only difference between my room and this one would be the private bathroom. We would both have access to the same balcony. I am a female in my mid-twenties, and I am active duty military. I do own a very friendly, happy dog. I would not expect anything from you in regard to taking care of her. But there are no other pets allowed. I would say that I am pretty go-with-the-flow. I don’t mind having people over, and I do not have a ton of rules. I do shift work, so I am never on a set schedule and am going in and out at all hours because of work. Just treat myself and the common areas with respect, and I will do the same for you!
