Barbie's room

It’s a shame I have to resort to this but I just want everyone to be aware so that you don’t go through what I went through. In the beginning of march I moved into this house with high hopes that I had finally found a place to call home. 1 month in I realized the girl I was living with had extreme anger issues. It was traumatic especially coming from a place where I was running away from a toxic house hold, long story short she verbally threatened to harm me and the other roommate (I had never had any interactions/ experience with her for her to feel this way. We wouldn’t even come across each other in the house) when I brought up maintenance issues she wasn’t responsive and would respond weeks later without any updates in between (or wouldn’t respond at all to our maintenance issues (toilet clogged we had to leave the house to the nearest store for a restroom for about 2 weeks & our shower was clogged and i would have to find where to take a shower for 2 weeks) & when I brought up how other roommate with bigger room was being charged less than me and if there could be an accommodation (respectfully asking her if I could speak to the landlord bc she is not the land lord & we would communicate to him through her) she immediately was asking me when I was going to move out without talking about it at all. The last straw was when she blamed me for incident that wasn’t my fault and even after I offered to clean the mess that wasn’t mine up she kicked me out. Without any specific date to leave (i was expecting at least a month to find a new place for the inconvenience & bc I was completely over it ) she tried to kick me out with about a week notice and when I spoke up about my rights and asked to speak with the landlord since that was a conversation for him and I not for her and I she threatened to call the cops. She finally came to an agreement after I stood my ground & I moved out 3 weeks ago have yet to receive my deposit and she won’t answer.

Once I moved in I was told by neighbors she was known for compulsively kicking roommates out with little to no explanation but I did not think it would happen to me bc I mind my business, respect others & clean up after myself Pls pls pls no matter how friendly the roommate seems , create a contract with them so that you don’t get kicked out without an explanation! This is real life not everyone is fortunate enough to have a cushion to fall on when kicked out unexpectedly out of no where. And pls be aware this girl is a scammer and will project her personal problems on to you!
