Nikita's room

*Edit: the room is now only available from July 26th to August 31st as the landlord decided to refurbish the place! Hello! I’m currently occupying a room that will become available this late July (07/24-25). It’s in a 4 bedroom house located in a quiet neighborhood, about 10 min walk from NIH West Drive gate (~12 min walk to bldg 10). Currently, the other roommates are all of various genders/ages/occupations, so there is no particular preference for any of those parameters.

Room details:

• Decent size room (easily fits a queen size bed, chest of drawers + desk and chair)
• Rent: 790 a month (utilities not included but range from 60 to 100 a month depending on season, with Dec/Jan on the higher end)
• This particular room comes with a shared bathroom (1 other person). Currently, the other roommate is female.
• I have some furniture I’d be happy to leave for an arranged fee (bed, chest of drawers, desk, chair, small bookshelf) or the room can come unfurnished, whatever you prefer.

House info:

• There is a driveway (big enough for 1 car) and plenty of street parking in front of the house (you will most likely need to get a resident permit for that). I don’t personally drive, but all the other roommates do and there’s never a problem with space.
• The house has A LOT of storage space (e.g. for any sports equipment) and a huge backyard with a fireplace.

3 females (including me) and 1 male, mid 20s to early 30s. Various occupations: software engineer, daycare teacher, NIH fellows. Two of the roommates are potentially moving out this summer too, but the person taking over this room would have a say in who they’d like to replace them with.
